“It doesn’t look good,” I told myself as I saw the area around ‘The Two Hassans’ cordoned off by the Police. Ambulances, police cars and fire-trucks blocked the access. I parked my car further away and walked quickly towards the entrance. I had a feeling that whatever may have happened inside was related to what I had become involved in. Onlookers lined up on the opposite sidewalk, feeding their voyeuristic curiosity, while neighbors were hanging out on their balconies despite the rain that had started to pour.

“Sir, where do you think you’re going,” a police officer yelled, as I attempted to get near the entrance.

“Inside, Officer. I am meeting with some friends for dinner.”

“Nobody’s going inside; this is a crime scene now.”

“What happened?”

“I can’t tell you. But if you have questions, ask that officer, over there, with the blue and white umbrella.”

“All right; thank you, Officer.”

As I was gearing to head toward another officer, somebody seized my arm from behind and pulled me sideways.
