Assem Akram

Assem Akram was born on September 29, 1965 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He holds a Doctorate degree in History from the Paris Sorbonne University.

During the war of Resistance against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, Assem Akram worked actively in different capacities towards the liberation of his country. >>

In May 1993, disappointed by the endless fighting for power between former Afghan Mujahideen groups and their total lack of any sense of responsibility, he resigned from his diplomatic post in Paris.

Assem Akram has been living in the United States since 1996 with his two sons and his wife. He’s the author of two History books and two works of fiction. >>
